   Got this call today, pension, under 60, £1,000 blad blad blad, total scam and I just hung up, checked the map where the call might come from and it shows a street called Lloyd St. in Manchester, near, in or beside a pub called the Old nags head.

   was out walking dog when call was left on answerphone, but told me I was entitled to £1000 per month or something for some strange reason. I may be 74 for I am certainly not senile.

   I am fed up with these constant calls I did not answer, found out it was about refund of £1000 tax refund/pension. I have complained to Ofcom and will continue to do so every time I get these type of calls. I am ex-directory and with the Telephone Preference Service, both are useless.

   Apparently prerecorded message saying I had a £1000 Pension Bonus payment and this was an urgent call and to press 5 to process the payment. I was under 60 and so I was due to be paid £1000. I don't know of any pensions I have that do this. They didn't say there name and I don't know who called. They said I could press 9 to unsubscribe. I hung up. I hadn't subscribed to anything!

    I was cold called and told that as I was under 65 and drawing a deferred company pension I was entitled to a £1,000 pound payment. I asked who this was calling and all they would say was 'The helpline'. I told them that I was registered with Telephone Preferences and that I should not receive such calls. I further told them to remove my name from their database.

    Automated call from telemarketer telling me I was entitled to a "tax refund". To talk to someone press 5, to unsubscribe press 9. On pressing 9 I was told to register with TPS! I already am!

    Like Claz I am also registered with TPSI they really are a waste of time. I still have 19 phone numbers of unwanted callers that I have blocked myself on my phone line.
