I have been called from this number 3-4 times a week since January this year and have yet to answer the call. Finally received a letter from Mercury financial today 8th Sept saying I had until Sept 29 to reply and to receive my winnings from this years world cup lotto which I have never heard of let alone entered yes you guessed it £850.000.Straight in the bin methinks.

Haven't played this lottery don't believe in miracle's but the number's are changed for Springfield Financial Group, 40 Bank St, Canary Wharf London E14 5RN. 0207-060-5401 or 0758-5634-594.If this is true then I'm the fool but I think it's a con.

I recently received a quite dubious letter from "Springfield Financial Group" that asked me to call a Bernard Morgan as I had allegedly won £850,000 in a lottery. It also said that I need to claim my prize within two weeks of the date of the letter (which said August 15th so more than a month ago). Additionally, I have to pay a clearance fee to receive my prize. All I can say is: the letter is not worth the paper it was printed on so just ignore it and don't respond to their requests!

I received a letter as well. In spite of having never participated in a lottery or any sort of sweepstakes, apparently, I have won £850,000 and was supposed to contact a Bernard Morgan at this number to claim my prize. It also said that I had to respond within the course of two weeks after the letter was issued (it was dated August 22 and I received the letter on September 23 - so what in god's name are they trying to pull?). Obviously, I didn't reply to the letter - it's obviously a scam!
