Pick up phone and its dead, or pick up the phone and a bloke, possibly Indian and sounds like it is in a call centre, with a very strong accent will ask to speak to you. According to others, it is a scammer who will claim they are working for Microsoft and need you to do a few things on your pc. Do them, and your pc is hacked, so be warned.
I'm registered with the TPS, my number is ex-directory, and NEVER given out to companies unless I have dealt with them for over 12 months, and yet these scammers have still got my name and phone number from somewhere.
Numerous calls from them, a complete pain in the @rse.
