They are debt collectors on behalf of the SLC (as others have noted). The SLC, as usual, were the problem and had not updated their systems correctly (or whatever other excuse they will come out with down the line).
The guy I spoke to was very professional - bit weird that they asked for copies of all of the documents that I have to send to the SLC to rectify their mistakes. The guy said it was because they have to keep their records straight and double check their own findings (personally I find this a bit dodgy, but I'd hazard a guess that they have had their own issues with the SLC's c**ckups in the past).
They did call at least 4 times a day with very limited information, so I didn't call them back until I'd been told to by the SLC (after another couple of hours trying to get to the bottom of what the issue was..). -

Ebay are unfair reported number +441132735400 as Transcom
Call consistently. Sold item on Ebay. Sent recorded. Tracked. Buyer opened case 29 days after received item saying not as described. Returned a different item. Ebay found in favour and refunded. So I Lost postage. Item and payment. Now Ebay sent the debt to this company to rub salt into the wounds. It's a case of seller beware on Ebay nowadays. They are however a genuine company chasing up a debt that Ebay have sent them over
(Irelevant of if Ebay have done you wrong in the peocess)

Call daily, I emailed them and told them to stop as I would do them for harassment... little do they know I record every call that comes in from them and I say I’m that call I have emailed you x amount of days ago to stop harassing me.

Keep calling and txting about e-bay fees and refund to someone who said they hadn’t received the shoes from me however, e-bay refunded her from my paypal account and I had proof of posting. E-bay not helpful at in sorting out the fact they have had the refund money of me. They have blocked my account so I can’t pay the £4.27 fees owed so they pass the account to these harrassers who decide to add £8 on! They can jog on!

A debt collection company who collect debts on behalf of eBay. My fees have been paid once then I got an email saying it'd been withdrawn and I still owed fees to the sum of £25. This company however claim I owe £50?! For selling a few dresses online are you kidding. Won't see penny one from me you slag.

Had a fee off eBay to pay which I did and now this company keep ringing and emailing me asking for double my initial fee was. Even though I had an email of eBay saying the money had been paid, these people still harass me. Wouldn’t even bother answering the phone anymore.

Woman quite polite. They call me every few weeks on behalf of the Student Loans Company (who are the real people at fault here to be honest!) and insist they have a different house number and can't progress with the call.

"Transcom" were calling on behalf of ebay, apparently. They wanted my security details, which I didn't give them, and told them I would respond to their ebay messages, which, of course, they had never sent. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I sold lego on eBay and the bit** that bought it becided to rip me off. Ebay opened a case and only gave me 24 hours to reply some of us do work so could reply in time. They payed her a refund and expect me to pay it I never got the item bk witch was bran new. Ebay u can stop ringing me ur not getting a penny out of me unless I get a new lego set end off number is now blocked cya

Sold an item on ebay with no returns , the bint who brought the item decided to rip me off ,she started a dispute which was closed before i had a chance to respond !Payed all my fees so uptodate and now they chase me for the refund that should never have happend . Phoned regarding an ebay payment which was settled weeks ago. When he realised this, I was told I still owed THEM an admin fee?! Kept repeating himself and talking over me. Completely indignant and intimidating. Wouldn't get off the phone until after 15 mins said he would "let it go on this occasion as a good will gesture"

Was up to date on ebay and paypal fees as I frequently buy and sell on Ebay, got a phone call from these a couple of days ago saying I owed £112 in FEES!!! I called Ebay and they confirmed I owed nothing but they still persist. Calling in excess of 30 times daily and texting. Scamming *

Someone called asking for me, saying they're calling from Transcom about "an account". Asked me for my address, which they said was wrong, and kept asking for my previous addresses, saying it will be a previous address and can I confirm my previous addresses.
Declined to give them anything further - asked them what it was about, they declined to say anything except "an account" and asked for my username.
No idea what he was on about and asked him what username - started getting snotty saying I should know.
Repeated I've no idea who they are, or what they're calling for, and to stop calling me.
Sounds like a fishing expedition, or a half-baked scam.
