01135313751 said from O2 with a deal on a new contract ... as I am sim only on a rolling contract knew it was a scam. Called from a Leeds number on BT phone system also seemed dodgy!
Heavy accented indian voice, in a noisy call centre.
Worrying thing is they had my mobile number ( obvs! ) and my first and last name, and nearly the right amount of m,y contract ... although offered me a "deal" at a higher price!
Expected to be asked to provide payment details, no chance!
Called last week, tried to convince me it was genuine - they gave me a number to call to check ... and said they would send me a validation code to read back to them .... another known fraud scam!
