Rude biatch asked if I was me(and didnt pronounce my name right) tsk tsk poor education.
I was as rude back etc etc Silly cow asked if I wanted to renew some sort of rubbish car protect policy and I replied
pause pause..... No!
Response Why?
My reply, pause "because I feel like it", and put the phone down.
Hope I get another call, so I can swear my head off at whoever it is. -

This woman on the phone knew the name of the car I was driving and my address and my name. She claimed she is from the company that deals with it's warranty. How ever some of the information was not right. She did not know my reg plate, wether it was manual drive, when I bought it or the age of the car. I did not give her the correct information because I was getting suspicous and when I told her the price I bought it for (£200). She went quiet and then apolygised that their records are not correct and hung up. I don't buy it she hardly knew anything about my car.
Emily replied 4/18/16, 5:43 PMI had the same experience today (18 April 2016) as Mark and others. The woman introduced herself from Car Protect and knew the car I drove. She said the company I had bought the car from had passed on my details and "didn't they tell you we would be calling?" She tried to sell me insurance which would provide the value of my car if it were to be written off. I told her that my insurance already covers that. This seemed to stop her, and I gave no further details, expect to ask that my phone number was removed from their database. Possibly it is a legit company, I will update again if they call a second time. -

Terse and rude woman trying to get hold of my wife with an inpenetrable northern accent saying she was from "Car Protect". Some research shows that they are part of the Motorway Direct (AA Warranty) group that I have dealt with before and have had reasonably good experiences with, so this was disappointing, especially as we are TPS registered.

CALLED ME TOLD ME MY CAR REG I SAID YES THATS MY CAR HE SAID ITS A GOLF RIGHT HE KNEW MY NAME AND WHEN I ASKED WHERE HIS CALLING FROM HE SAID INSURANCE I SAID I DONT RECOGNISE YOUR NUMBER HE DISCONNECTED THE CALL IM HAPPY I FOUND THIS PAGE BCOS HE IS 100% IM HAPPY I DIDNT GIVE HIM ANY DETAILS BE CAREFUL EVERYONE DONT ANSWER HIS CALL!!

Told me they were not allowed to advise if I bought the extended warranty or not (legally they are not allowed to advice against any such product). Continually said this amazing product, for the small price of £30 a month, this includes everything you would need etc. The person questioned if I knew anything about cars, and stated a gear box would cost £2k. I own a 10 year old Skoda Fabia and I knew that was utter rubbish. Went onto tell me the turbo was covered, I have the basic petrol 1.2. I asked about exactly what was covered and the person got a little sketchy about the details. Would not recommend.

I have just had a call from this number, which I didn't answer as I was on another call anyway. I am so fed up with nuisance calls now that I have been down to the sports shop and brought a nice loud whistle - I care not whose ear drums I burst, but feel sure I could now swear in several languages judging by the response :)

Phoned at least twice a day by this number - i never answer as i never do if i don't know the number. Thank you everyone for letting us all know who it is - just one more unwanted nuisance call in a constant line of many. Message to this an similar companies - STOP!!!!!!!!!!! NO ONE IS INTERESTED!!!!

Went through the whole speel of my warranty had expired - asking for £30 per/m to extend my warranty then asked for my credit card details - told them I didn't know than from Adam and asked them to email details of the warranty cover. Needless to say I never received the email - avoid at all costs and never disclose bank details to anyone that calls you

I am sick of this number ringing me, usually at lunch time. I am registered with the TPS but this does not seem to stop the calls. It used to be a pleasure answering the phone but not any more.
