Bloke claimed he was from a government department in Guildford (even though area code is for Reading). Even specifically stated he was a civil servant. Talked about government grants and said there was a brochure with details available. Then said that someone called David would be able to explain it to me. I said I didn't need to talk to someone and asked him to just send me the brochure. He hung up.
Just another telemarketing scam where they try to get you in front of a salesman.
