John from Medical Alert Monitoring Centre, Dorset rang to say that I was on their list as being eligible for a medical alert device. I asked where they got my number. He said he was new and list was from his manager. Manager was "on the phone". I wanted to know which "local organisation" had given them my number. I waited. Everytime I spoke he repeated his name and "company" like he hadn't understood my question. Whilst waiting I web searched the company name. Came up as a scam with a different telephone number. He said he's get manager to call me. I said don't bother you are scammers and I'm blocking the number!
leslie replied 5/16/22, 9:27 AMHI there yes i also just had a call from John from this company i am not on any list it is a scam be very wary of John from Medical Alert Monitoring centre he said he was from Dorset. Since I am TPS registered this is clearly a scam - a bon fide company would not start off with stolen personal data.
