Received numerous calls from this number during the last 7 days. I have answered on a couple of occasions and can only hear back ground noise at the other end like a busy call centre. Each time after a few seconds the connection was terminated at their end??

As with all numbers that aren't in my phonebook, If I don't recognise it I won't answer it. If it's important they'll leave a message and I'll call them in my time. If they don't then I'll check the number online to see if it's a marketing comp etc and then and it to my reject list on my phone. Easy and stress free :-)

If someone has to randomly 'cold call' to peddle their wares, it aint a good deal. Lets face it, why would THEY want to save you money???? If I want to buy something, its because I need it. If I want to save myself money, ill research it myself and seek it out myself. Im sick of these modern day con artists and their harassment tactics
Dave replied 11/13/14, 8:50 PMI received a call today about my pension it turns out they were provided with my phone number provided by Blue Fire Marketing.On goinghappy person replied 11/19/14, 7:52 PMI took a call from these people back in september, and just like many of you i was very irritated as they would call me at lease twice a day. I eventually took the time to actually listen to what they were saying and in all fairness it was one of the most informative phone call ive had in long time. THEY DONT SELL Anything and thankfully the review isnt done over the phone, they said it takes around 6 weeks to conduct, mine was actually done in 4. up until that point i didnt realise how much charges was occurring on my pension without my knowledge. They saved me 3,500 a year on 3 of my frozen pensions combined and allowed me to get back money lost due to the hidden charges. the information they gave to me i WASNT OBLIGATED FOR ANYTHING AND I WASNT CHARGED FOR ANYTHING!!!DONT JUDGE THE BOOK BY ITS COVER .... DONT JUDGE THE CALL BEFORE U LISTENSarah replied 12/8/14, 1:11 PM@ happy person
"Don't judge the call before you listen"???!! How does that work when they call me 5 times each day but have never actually said anything yet. Each time I answer, I get silence and then the call is terminated. -

If it keeps calling your mobile, assuming it is a smart phone, you can actually block the number. Good luck and keep the faith

The problem with this one ios that the calls are not wanted or requested. They are from a computer that when an swered patch you through to a call centre selling various services. Several time I have called the number back and pressed 9 (option to stop calls) but still get them. Peeing me off.

I was called twice within five minutes by somebody wanting to do something with my pension. I was very rude to the first person and she threaten to call ten police on me. They rang five minutes later and I spoke to a supervisor. They said they had my number on a data base and if I was rude they would call the police. I got very rude and said go for it. I asked about this data base and that I wanted to know where it was from and they hung up.
Dave replied 11/19/14, 8:37 PMReally. Doubt that very much. All calls into and out from any call centre is recorded. If you had a problem then report it, as long as you can back it up. They will have recording. -

They're offering a free pension assessment that will highlight how your current pension is performing and other options that are on the market that may better your current scheme - if you don't wish to receive calls from them just nicely ask if they can remove your details on the system and ask them what data company they got your number from

Phoned me on my mobile about 1400 today, asking for "Donna." I hung up on them as my mobile signal was awful.
Phoned again at 1745, but this time the idiot on the phone asked to speak to a "Mr Huntleyside." I said there was no-one of that name here, so he couldn't, and hung up on him.
I've got a blocker App on my hacked iPhone, so all future calls, and texts, will just get bounced. -

Ex-employee reported First Review Pension Services with the number +441332426342 as Telemarketer
Dear disgruntled cold-call recipient,
I previously worked for this company for a considerable amount of time however I have left this position due to career advancement elsewhere.
They do provide an excellent service, one of which a great deal of the UK public could benefit from. If you get over the fact it's a cold call and you go along with the service then the following happens:
They contact your pension providers on your behalf, which takes approximately 6-8 weeks but may be shorter or could take some time longer depending on the provider;
They then call you to let you know that they have your information;
Depending upon your circumstances and your understanding of risk there are many different options available. If the one suitable to you is still a little unnerving then they will look at something less or more risk-averse.
They are not regulated by the FCA and can therefore recommend products throughout the entire marketplace rather than an IFA, they do however recommend products which are regulated depending upon the suitability.
They get people into touch with a number of wealth management companies, IFAs etc.
All their company is above board as far as any laws and governing bodies go.
Their target market is between 30 and 60.
If you still wouldn't like to hear more, so be it but just pick up the phone, say "thank you but no thank you, I'm not interested, could you please take me of your calling list" and that will be the end of that. I can assure you, after starting in the job role mentioned, you want to be called up and have your time wasted just as little as they want someone to be unreceptive on the phone and if you're on a website complaining about cold calling then you have already made up your mind how that call is going to go.
It can take months for a transfer to take place, if indeed that is the end product, and after the transfer you then have an additional 30 days if you have second doubts about what you have done to go back where you were.
If you are receiving a multitude of calls from different companies and numbers (I used to get people complain to me about debt collectors, PPI, phones, double glazing, solar panels and anything else) then send an email, requesting they stop, to the following with your name (or the name they ask for) and the phone number they keep phoning on to:
[email protected]
Also adding yourself to the tps should prevent any further concerns in the future.
Kind regards,
Ex FRPS employee
P.S I hope I was a help to some people
P.P.S Massacres/shootings etc. Do happen at call centres, I know of them at companies such as Sky and Thornton's, even joking about violence to that extent is a crime and I have reported those who have made such claims, hopefully they will get a knock on the door by the police some day in the future.Pioneer11 replied 7/30/15, 12:50 PMEx employee -- why call someone several times a day?? I don't want to be told to just pick up the phone and say thanks but no thanks so many times a day no matter how reputable they may be-- on the contrary why can't they get the message that after 30/40 failed calls to the same number that there's no interest in their service! I personally am overseas and don't want wakening at 2 am 3 am to say no thanks! There is no debate here at all,,boo replied 7/30/15, 2:49 PMhow the hell do they get your phone number ????fedup replied 8/1/15, 8:18 AMNot regulated by the FCA . . .Don't touch them !!! P.S. Very useful! If people would just listen instead of treating the person on the phone so unfairly. They do NOT sell anything. Me and my husband got a free assessment done with them and they showed us all we needed to know and what we didnt know. We are in the best place possible! Thanks.
Yup replied 7/9/14, 6:55 PMThat sounds like a very sensible course of action, giving your details to a cold caller from a 'company' you've never heard of. You really thought that one through. And they told you at the end your on the best type of pension toucan be on, how reassuring! Taking advice and blessings from a unheard of cold calling 'company' well done, hope my reply doesn't sound a tiny bit sarcastic....... Because its totally unintended!Richard68 replied 7/23/14, 12:46 PMI'm not even sure this comment can be genuine. A full pension review on the phone, with advice given to put you in the best place possible? At the full financial cost to the company. Sorry - no chance.BobbyT replied 7/29/14, 3:35 PMThey do not sell anything....to you!!! What do you think they do with that lovely personal data you've just supplied to them...for nothing?! Yep! That's right....THEY SELL IT!
The sheer naivety and ignorance of people these days! Give me strength!Samantha replied 7/29/14, 3:52 PMWell said BobbyT....I'm pretty sure there's a Ugandan representative from a well established banking corporation eager to speak to these two muppets!!John replied 7/31/14, 2:33 PMACTUALLY the assessment isn't done over the phone and they don't ask for any details over the phone!!!
the only information i had to give was the company i worked for.
you guys would be upset when you find out there's a lot of hidden charges and fees and it's too late to do anything about it!
