    Heavily accented caller from outside the UK (predictive diallers are banned here) who could not pronounce my name. They gave up on the call when I refused to speak English and they obviously didn't speak Gaelic.

    lots of calls from this number recently. I have had a lot of problems with Scottish Power, as a side comment, even if you think it's them, take care. I have a lot of evidence in writing to show they are not a reputable Company, including refusing to refund credit amounts caused by there errors.

    I've received a phonecall from this number today but I didn't answer. After googling it I came here to find out that it probably is Scottish Power. I spoke to them about 2 weeks ago and they asked if I wanted a smart meter installed. I said I will have to think about it and get back to them. I suppose it was a genuine call from SP exactly because I spoke to them recently.

    Smart meter installation, when I said no I was told I am missing out on 5 better deals only given to smart meter customers. I told him I would research first. He said he would ring back in a week. Since then 2 more calls have come in today.

    Overseas caller with accent, said they were from Scottish Power wanted to arrange appointment to fit smart meter. Call was “echoing” and I could hear what I had just said to them replayed back. Told them firmly NO! Remember to block this number so they can’t ring you back. For landline numbers check with your phone provider as they may be able to advise you how to do this.

    Claimed to be from Scottish Power, but with the tone of the caller and the information they relayed, i wouldn't trust this caller. Just call Scottish Power directly.
