   Hi, I know some people who work in mobile phones and know that Chitter Chatter is a genuine company. They sell contracts on the EE network and are a genuine contracted partner of theirs. their contracts are similar but you can usually actually get a better deal from them than EE direct. I cannot confirm that this number is linked with Chitter Chatter (as I missed the call) but the company themselves are genuine and provide a service using the EE network so can be trusted. Not saying the calls aren't annoying though!

   This number is EE (T-Mobile). I've had calls from this number before, including their 08 numbers. If you Google the number, you can bring it up on the EE website.
   
   Any degenerate who seems to think this is an unsafe number is obviously slow in the head.
   
   PS: Asking for your number taking off the system will do no good, at all. Signing up for a contract means you've also signed up to be contacted by EE or partners for other marketing offers.
   
   When taking out a contract, PLEASE learn how they work and read your actual contract that you signed.

   I received a call from this number. They use an automated dialler which is why there are problems with 'dropped calls'. I work in a call centre doing outbound sales myself so understand that the dialler rings people automatically and if enough agents are not ready to take a call one can be dropped. They are a partner of ee and the number is listed as such on the ee website. The reason they ask what phone you are using etc is because they are SECURITY questions. They can't discuss your account until you have proven who you are, they ask non sensitive questions and if you don't want to answer them then you can refuse and they will explain the call without giving you any details from your contract. People who think they are so clever and security conscious by refusing to answer questions the person already know the answer to are ridiculous. If you are security conscious then how have you managed to sign up to a contract, give over all your details and NEVER realised there is a law in place called the 'data protection act' which PROTECTS YOU from fraud... Which means anyone calling from your network will need PROOF they are speaking to you before they give over your VERY PERSONAL information?? This partner of ee can in fact give you a ten percent discount on ANY phone contract... Also they can do that for new customers as well as existing ones for second lines.. You try ringing ee and asking for 10 percent discount they will say you're dreaming! This number can offer discounts you don't get direct from your network. It does my head in people refusing to listen to the call at all, not knowing what it is about. And then coming on here to make a FALSE complaint. Saying you can't say no when in reality you feel UNCOMFORTABLE saying no and so avoid it or hang up instead. This is a legitimate number and the people who work there are truthfully selling exclusively discounted phone contracts.
