kept ringing and harassing, don't know if they genuine but I don't trust them. in the end I added the number to contacts then held down the button and blocked the number then removed them from contacts as only way I knew how to block a number, I do that each time a number comes through now. hope this is helpful.

I called the number back got through to a recorded voicemail advising it was not a sales call, it was a market researcher working on behalf of EE - I am an EE customer so seems legit.

Some £&@“! taking a survey, asking a bunch of stupid questions. The caller ID came up as EE Customer Support. I should have ignored or hung up (some are fakes though and know how to hide their caller ID and pretend to be EE). Better to ignored such calls in future!

Re below....untrustworthy!!!

Claimed to be from EE, asked me if they were speaking to me by my name, I confirmed that they were speaking to the right person. Then they said “I’m going to hang up now” then hung up

Reported to EE, they said they are a marketing company and are partners with EE as he checked it on the EE website.

EE advised me to sign up to the telephone preference service (TPS). I did just that. They said it was a very strange call to have especially from a marketing company so has reported it on file

I pressed an automatic reply text ‘sorry can’t talk right now’ and this guy leave a message from this number saying ‘good one, good one, good one mate, f?*king good one mate, yer good one’ . Lovely clearly not a legit company, don’t answer it.

It is of no concequence, legit or not, if this company are making silent calls they are in breach of OFCOM guidelines and may be liable for a huge (I hope) fine.
