this is not the 1st time you have called there is not now nor ever has been a sue davies here,if you call again I will report you for harrasment

Silent call. 9am on a Saturday - the only time when I have any opportunity to catch up on some sleep but Moorcroft had a better idea. I called back and was told that if I was the only person on this number that I should call Moorcroft on the number in the letter. There was no letter. They are debt recoverers but they should not be phoning me because I never default on anything. I went to their website and filled in their feedback form, giving my email address so they could apologise and leave me alone but at the end, it quickly flashes up a Contact Us address then dumps you to a .co,uk address and when you try to get back, it tells you that you can only do the survey once. Even if I had managed to get through, they would probably just delete my number from their database. I hope that they would not sell my number to someone else before deleting it!
Paul replied 5/12/17, 9:53 AMCall their call centre on 01614752970 (It worked for me) I don't have any debt with them. Just explained they had the wrong number associated with their client. Good luck. -

I have blocked this company 3 times they ring you off different numbers they called me at 11.20pm last night using a different name they said this is MDr when usually it is this is moorcroft telling me I owe £293 vehicle insurance for aviva I do not drive haven’t a licence so how the he’ll would I have insurance arrggghh so frustrating

I picked up the phone and briefly spoke with a woman (in a call center) who asked me if my time was such-and-such (I did not understand the name) and then asked her if she represented a telemarketing agency and demanded my number be removed from their database. The call ended abruptly at this point.

I've been receiving calls from Moorcroft before 8am and sometimes after 7pm.....the reason? I've been paying up a debt to them for about 6 months (at an agreed monthly payment) and they are waiting more money from me.
This is the second time in 6 months they have continually phoned me.
If Moorcroft read this.....YOU'RE NOT GETTING ANYMORE MONEY THAN WE AGREED ON.....STOP BLOODY PHONING.

They leave a message even though I've blocked them.
They refer to themselves as MDR they should use their correct name Moorcroft Debt Recovery.
IF you look up MDR you can't find anything.
Amber is who calls but when you call back they say, "We don't have an Amber working here."

These moor rift people keep phoning here looking for someone we have never heard of and we have lived here almost 20 years, when we tell them she's not here they don't believe us and have accused my son of with holing information! Absolutely disgusting company moorcroft debt collection idiots.

This Company calls my elderly mother's number regularly, even on Sundays, after 8pm and sometimes before 8am.
She has dementia and is harassed by these worrying callers. I've asked them NOT to call her at all.They refuse to discuss why they are continually calling her as I am 'not the customer' they need to speak to. It's horrendous. They've just called again -Sunday 2.15pm.Tomorrow I am reporting them to the Police for harassment and changing my mother's number.

This is a legit Debt Collection agency, but often the people they are chasing abandon their phone numbers which then get recycled to someone else, who then gets chased by Moorcroft. You can get them to stop calling the number, but it can take several calls.

Answered the phone and said hello 3 times before the person on the other end hung up. Did 1471 and discovered it was 001614752875. Ran the number through various site and discvered it was MDR.They never spoke, and no idea how they got my number. Since it is e diretory and i never give out the landline number

Asking for 'Katy Smithson' - again. Thought I'd sorted this nonsense out months ago after over a year of nuisance calls for this mystery Smithson person. If this is starting all over again, I may just have to change my hme number, it's utter madness.

They are Moorcroft Debt Recovery
