Harassment call. Third one from this number in the last week. Gotta laugh - I rang the number back, and the message said that it was "a marketing/sales company, and that they would ring again. If I wanted to opt out of these calls, I should register with the TPA". I AM FEKKIN-WELL REGISTERED WITH THE TPA AND STILL THE FEKKERS GET THROUGH! ARGGGHHHH
John S replied 3/26/13, 5:08 PMI found out having received these calls myself that the TPS (not TPA) don't deal with recorded message calls, only live ones! Recorded message calls need to be reported to the Information Commissioner's Office (www.ico.gov.uk). You can't register with ICO to have them stopped but maybe if enough people report them the ICO will take steps to close down these nuisance organisations. -

Several Calls from these people over the last couple of days, despite the fact that I have spoken to them and asked to be taken off their Dialling List. Should have checked on the web first! Been dealing with a bunch of Jokers from India for the last couple of years...Didn't think the Tossers had Moved over here...

prerecorded message 'accoprding to our records' nonsense about owed £1000 to claim on my private pension and press 5 to get it. Did not as possible cost trap . Bigger danger is that this is a trawl for people with private pension who will then be scammed into giving details that will allow them to be stolen from them. In this case I will attempt to report to the Pensions Regulator. Reporting nuisance calls to Ofcom etc seems useless. -
