I have just had a call from this number, I pick up the call and the line hangs up. I try to call back and its engaged. Anyway we can stop these calls as they are becoming very annoying?

Called and it hung up. If it's a PPI company we need to get Anonymous involved to do a DDoS attack on the phone bot server to bring it down. They are for the people.

I assume this is yet another PPI scam or some such - I'm lucky enough to have a smart phone so I can block such numbers - if you haven't got a smart phone, contact your service provider to see what they can do.

There should be (and needs to be) specific legislation to stop this type of nuisance calls - it all starts with a call that's abruptly ended as the phone-bot has logged the number as active and goes on from there - SICK OF THEM, SICK OF THE FIRMS THAT USE THESE TACTICS!!!

Rang me at 10.30am..Went to answer and it cut off...Only rang about twice...Didn't try again..I didn't return call as I had no credit...Why do these numbers always ring your mobile then either hang up or don't wait till you answer at all? Really annoying!!
