   Regular caller who claim to be working in/for Microsoft. They claim to have had messages from my PC which could be viruses!! Interesting as I have a Mac and don't use anything to do with Windows!
   Just for fun I played along and they identify 'problem' files on PC which can be deleted and then some that are very serious and could permanently kill your PC. These can be rendered safe by their 'specialist technicians' and a very low price of £69.99.
   The 'problem files' would actually turn out to be low ink, paper jam warnings etc if investigated.

   I answered once, sad computer scam wanting all your computer details, told them I had no computer, they rang off immediately!!! There was a gap of a few months and then my call minder registers they call, regularly, sometimes three times a day. I now screen calls with call minder but it is maddening to have to clear the call minder daily as they are not the only Company who harass in this way. Would be great if this kind of thing could be stopped for good.

   Pro-ported to be Microsoft. They wanted me to go to my Pc. Told them where to go.
   
   I had several silent calls prior to this one and a couple with silence they a recorded female voice saying thank you.

   I got a phone call from these the other day reporting to fix my computer online. I led them on a bit then ended telling him that he wad a liar and then he hung up.
   i have just had another phone call from someone claiming to be Punjab, where he started to go in to one calling me all sorts of expletives!. I then hung up after a while.

   Had 3 calls today, answered third call. Man said my computer kept sending info to their computer and he would help sort it out. He was trying to get me to hand over access to my computer to him - told him where to get off.

   THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!
   I've had 3 calls from 0203 234 5673 in 3 days! they seem to have me on some sort of timer as I had a call on Tuesday at 12.44 and one today at 12.44! Aparently, I have a virus on my computer, they can never answer your questions (I just love winding them up at their expense - sad I know!!) I've told them time & time again to stop calling, I'm registered with TPS and that I'm going to report the company, but still the calls keep coming..... well I have reported them now not sure if TPS can do anything as the calls sound like they're coming from India, not sure how they can use a London number?

    This is a scam.
    The company, claiming to be called 'Global PC Network' and representing Microsoft rang up claiming that a laptop we own had malicious software on it that had been downloaded from the internet. Other websites suggest they try and charge something like £180 for a couple of years support. It's all fake, they don't know anything and are using a scatter gun approach since most people have a PC or laptop running Microsoft they know they'll get lucky enough times.

    Reported that my Windows PC was in trouble and he could fix it. When I claimed that I did not have a computer he rang off!

    Caller claimed I had a problem with malware on my PC and he would guide me through the repair of it. He asked me to turn on my computer and when I told him no, he got aggressive, told me my PC would screw up and then hung up.
