Investigator antiscammersss reported Revolut scam with the number +447721806067 as Harassment calls
My Revolut account details were stolen today and I lost £6 from my account which were then reverted as I contacted the support via chat with reporting a fraud, after that my card got blocked and I asked for a new one. Everything went smoothly, however in a bout an hour I received a call from this number with a man saying to me that my card has been blocked (obviously, I did that) and in order for the online transactions not to get blocked for me before my new card arrives I need to give my account details (only to state the amount of money I have and the last payment made). I know about Revolut telephone scams and received many, so the scheme was pretty much clear to me even when the man tried to get my trust by confirming my home address and saying that this is all for the security reasons. He then told me that there is a pending bank transfer for £6500 for someone named Elizabeth (can’t remember the surname) and in order to cancel it I was asked to send my ID to confirm my “personality”. He also tried to persuade me that my WiFi was hacked and this is how someone got into my online banking system. I already knew these were the fraudeurs who spent my 6 pounds earlier on, so I only talked to him to get more information about how this new scam scheme works for you guys to be careful. I also tried to look up this number as we talked, however no reviews were written on it so I guess I’m the one to start this branch. The other Revolut scam calls I received were made from the “official” customer service number, which is just a hack scheme which has been reported multiple times on this holy website, but this is something fresh… Please please please be careful with your money and remember that Revolut never calls you without mentioning it on the app. Chat support first, if not - email.
