Ha! Actually thought this was a scam!! Sky hunted me down via forwarding addresses to send me a £20 balance from 6/7 years ago. They don't ask for bank details they just ask for you to punch in old account number from letter and they'll send a cheque.
Fair play to SKY!Scumbags replied 11/21/16, 6:29 PMI don't believe it. Because I never had a SKY account and they wrote to me at my work address. -

This is not a scam number. It is an automated answer that requires you to input the acc number on a letter to you sent from SKY that owes you a refund as a past customer. No bank details are requested. They will then send a cheque to you with the details they have already. For once a genuine attempt to repay monies owed

Received a letter addressed to me at my work address from SKY with this phone number. Purports to want to refund me £23 on my SKY account. Have not had a SKY account in my name for many years (5+) after I cancelled it. Current SKY account (Again 5+ years) in my wife's name and paid by direct debit. Suspect this is SKY's debt collection department chasing money by illegal means (contacting me at work) that isn't due.
