John Parker Employee ID number 1869438. Claiming I have to pay thousands of unpaid tax - HMRC tax fraud or being sent to court. His Superviser Michael Parker then said ok if you pay today... send a wire transfer --- even the number from Gloucester Police station 01452 saying they want to come and arrest me.

As others have said, it's a pre-recorded message. A female with an American accent, calling herself Agent Sarah Wilson from HM Customs, said it was extremely urgent that I call back as it was time sensitive. I hung up at this point and blocked the number. Clearly a scam.

Harassment - Claimed to be HMRC and that I owed £4798, proceeded to tell me that i would be charged with all sorts of things and qouted regs and that the phone was being recoreded, when they said my passport and drivers licence had been suspended, I laughed and said you've got to be having at laught, at that point they hung up, I've since tried to call back and they hang up or I get the dialing tone.

Called claiming to be from HMRC. Recorded message from a female with an American accent, calling herself Agent Sarah Wilson. Said to not ignore the message. I know this is a scam but I called the number. The phone was answered by a male with an Indian accent, claiming to be HMRC. When I questioned this he just hung up. Another number now on my blocked calls list!!
Garfield replied 7/20/18, 5:00 PMSame happened to me; when I called back and told the indian accent speaking guy that this is impossible and how does he know its me even, he couldnt give details about me, when I told him HMRC should know the ppl they are calling if theyre in their database he hung up

As others have said, automated voicemail left supposedly from HMRC. Decided to have some fun and call the number back, spoke to "michael" who decided he could prove to me he was from HMRC by calling me from a direct line. When challenged that this wouldn't prove anything he said check the number online and put the phone down. So i called him back and challenged again, and again he put the phone down. Total scam. If I had nothing better to do I'd bug him all day.
