    I keep getting these recorded message phone calls, usually about ppi or dept release, i have a sneeky feeling the people behind these scam calls are lifestyle claims at Swansea later changing their name to red hawk legal, what gets me is how many phone numbers do these people have, something needs to be done

    Received a call from this number stating they had a missed call from mine - untrue. (Female) caller got abusive when politely told no calls had been made. Called back several times swearing heavily. I have caller ID & stated I had her number & would call the police. Another abusive call followed (same voice) from withheld number but I'd already written it down... Will report to police next time.

    Record them, their number, and upload it to every social media service you can think of, including YouTube. Another tactic is to pretend you're interested, talk to them as long as possible so they pay for the call, then say they've been recorded for trying to scam people out of money. Do not say anything in response, just let them rant and rave. These people will hang themselves; in the meantime just block the scum and forget they exist. They deserve nothing more.

    Phoned me today and asked for 'Mr P Enis' sounding like kids prank calling or some extremely bored employees I would highly suggest ignoring this as it will be 10 seconds of your life you will never ever get back.

    I would like to know how this company got my number, as it can only be found if you are requiring a booking. the number is not advertised national or available, its a specific call number and is a PAYG number ???

    They either buy the numbers, are given them via questionable means, or they simply run a random number generator. I have a spaw PAYG and I never ever use it for anything other than phoning home.. guess what, I get spammed all the time. Get a PAYG phone with a "blacklist" option, it will prevent most. Never answer the call because it verifies your number is real and that you are human. These scammers are scum. Ignore them.

    Got 4 missed calls from this number. Actually it was 2 missed calls, but both were preceded immediately by an Unknown Number missed call which hung up after about a second, so I'm fairly sure this was them calling as well. No voicemail was left, and when I tried to call back (with a withheld number of course) it did not connect.

    Do not call them back. They will eventually give up. By calling back you are leaving yourself wide open to more spam and scam. Screw 'em, they're scum.. just add them to your block list.

    Never, ever call back. By doing so you are verifying your number is real, and open for more calls. You also risk being scammed by being re-directed to a rip-off line. If anyone needs to get in touch with you they will leave a message where you can check their details or they will write. Don't worry about not responding to scum - just add them to your block list.

    I run my own business in Salisbury and did a test to see what number my business gives as caller ID. I was surprised to find it is this one, since my office number is geographic to Salisbury. It is something to do with my telephone service provider running VOIP. It is a shame, because I have been the recipient of nuisance calls starting 01279 in the past and blocked them. Now it would appear that when I dial out to the outside world, I too am an 01279
