Received a call. Upon answering an automatic recording played. Mentioned about my recent payment protection service application and a refund. Asked me to press 5 if I havent received the refund yet. When I pressed 5, it said an agent will call within the next 30 mins

I just received a call from this number at 3:10AM Tue night/Wed morning on my cell phone. Number rang for about 5 seconds and then disconnected. How do I report this as a nuisance call? Who to etc? Thanks.

Called on my work phone saying they were from a computer company and that there was a problem with my computer that had been reported to them that they needed to fix. As we have an internal IS department I knew this was suspicious. When I challenged him he became very uncomfortable and hung up

Had a friend who had a similar call, only when he challenged the Asian fool on the other end of the line, the fool got snotty and started making death threats. Man, I wish I could have recorded it made some money off the views (now there's an idea). Unfortunately, lots of people do fall for this scam, and you had every right to be concerned for your staff and for the business. Another number for the blacklist.. -

Banger replied 1/19/15, 7:03 PMAnnie, every time you answer it tells them you are real. Don't answer them - block the number if possible. They aren't in this to run an honest business, which is why they seldom talk. They're often abusive and threatening, too. They're just scamming scum. -

If u have been given a non council parking ticket it could be a company called am secure as they ticket you then try and scam you if u dont pay as their tickets are uninforcable. They are wanting a way to find out your bank details

This number called me at 23:44 last night, I answered as i thought it might be an emergency (not many people call at that silly hour) once I answered I found its an automated voice asking about ppi. Well needless to say I hung up immediately!

I do two things when I get nuisance calls depending what mood I'm in.
1. If I recognise its a dodgy number I pretend I'm an answerphone, never stating my name etc, ' Sorry I'm not available to take your call (nice voice) - Now F**K off (nasty loud voice. then put the phone down and P**s myself laughing.
2. When they ask by name: I say 'hold the line i'll go get them, and leave the phone by the side, I come back after a while and ask them to hold on whilst I look for a spade as they have been dead a while. ( I know it's bad) but it's surprising how many still hold on......... -

This is a number skype use for skype to landline/mobile calling. My friend has just rung me and this came up on the caller id. He was phoning via skype. The scammers are switching to Skype as it is cheaper and less easy to police.
