Clever professional sales pitch by HELMS for free Solar PV paid for by Government energy grant.
Stupidly agreed to consultant visit, but confirmation call from PV Solar in Exeter sounded like it was from unprofessional morons.
Called back to tell that not to bother but was met with high pressure sales pitch from the team leader and questioning my reasoning on refusing this deal. Did not like their tone and when I firmly said I was not interested the phone was slammed down!.
Reported their number to the ICO as I am TPS registered.
Avoid these scamsters like the plague! -

Message: I HAVE RECEIVED SEVERAL HARASSING PHONE CALLS FROM REPRESENTATIVES OF PV SOLAR UK BASED IN EXETER. I HAVE REPEATEDLY ASKED TO BE REMOVED FROM THEIR DATABASE AND FOR THE CALLS TO STOP!!! ALL HAVE BEEN IGNORED !! THEIR LAST REPRESENTATIVE EVEN PHONED BACK AGAIN TO WISH US A S&&t NIGHT !!! TRULY OBNOXIOUS STAFF THEY ARE EMPLOYING. WON'T TAKE MY NUMBER AND DETAILS OFF OF THEIR DATABASE AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES !!!! -

Recieved phone call from these people and stupidly arranged for them to come round. The sales pitch was awful. The guy kept swearing and using inappropriate language. When he asked if he can run through the figures and that it wqould take about an hour. I made and excuse and said we would reschedule. He then plied the pressure asking when was good to comeback. He really tried the hard sell and I had to be quite forceful with him to tell him I was not going to but anything from him. If it was a vunerable person I think it might have been a different ending. All in all a horrible salesman who stank and used inappropriate language. I dont know if they are a scam or a genuine business but he gave me the impression it was a scam

Hard selling solar panels and will not take 'no' for an answer - even when told I am TPS just shrugs it off, couldn't care less, will not get off line.
