I am sick to death of these calls every friggin day!! I am ex directory and listed with the TPS. How do these damn recorded messages keep getting through? It can't be random dialling because it's become a daily nuisance.

As soon as I picked up I got a pre-recorded message about debt management (or something)saying i'd opted in to receive calls,which I haven't. I suspet a Scottish insurance company has given my details after asking them to take me off their database.Insidious timewasters.

Please could you tell me to whom I could report this number? It keeps calling me regarding writing off debts and I don't have any. I tried to call it back hoping to speak to a person but I got a BT announcement that the number has not been recognised.

Report them to Trading Standards as they keep a log of calls from these parasites and if there are enough reports they will take action.
