Pre-recorded message re banking PPI, dial 5 to contact, 9 to avoid more calls from this number, but the '9' does not work as received more calls two and three days later. Absolute pain. Registered with TPS already so how do they obtain my details?

rang my 82 year old mum and scared her saying debt collectors and she owned money, she hung up and phoned me in tears,i rang trading standards to report it, they gave me number of action fraud line and reported to them, they very helpful, the more people who report this number the better, they need stopping as from reading other comments on this page, it is very distressing for elderly. so please report them

These people have called my mum a few times,she is 80 & not well at the momment she is fed up with getting up & down to answer these cold callers.I have now told her to blow a whistle down the phone, this has stopped other callers when Iv'e done this in the past.

unfortunately a whistle won't work as its a pre-rcorded message.Trading standards is probably the best way of dealing with them as it's harassment.

I've had this number call me several times over the past few weeks.

Normally I hang up just as the message begins. This time I waited until the end of the message, when the it suggests that you can 'Press 9' to request they don't call again.

I pressed 9 and the line went dead. It'll be interesting to see if they stop calling me.

If they don't stop, I'll write to OFCOM, and copy a letter to the police and to my local MP, who just happens to be David Cameron. I'd love to find a way to pull the plug on these bar stewards.

Fed up of these calls, if they can get PPI back and my debts written off then they are a better man than me, Gunga Din. I'd have to have got some PPI to have mis-sold to me and racked up some debts first. I am TPS registered as well. No matter how many times I just put the phone down, they still ring.

Thanks for making me aware of whats happening re above number. Its lovely just to leave them talking to themselves and paying for the call. Doesn't cause me any problems at all, no stress, problem is all theirs as is the cost!

Annoying recorded message - 1471 produced the number but when I tried to call them to ask them not to call me, BT said their number "not recognised". BT tell me there is no way to stop calls from numbers which are specified, but not recognised. There should be!

This firm leave a message claiming that I "opted into" receiving debt management advice. This is a lie. They are a very dubious organisation as they use an illicit identity and do not conform to recognised data protection or marketing standards.
