The caller told me I had poor internet connection and speed issues, offering to help fix it. They instructed me to download a specific app, supposedly for troubleshooting. It felt sketchy, and I quickly realized it was just a way for them to remotely access my device.

Broadband scam has been reported with number 01733964094 as Harassment calls
The caller told me that he was from Sky and they’ve noticed that my broadband bills were fluctuating. I’m not with Sky and I pay a set amount. Than he said that my current provider sends them my bills that’s how they know. When I said that it might be me being the only person receiving bills from my provider, he started becoming aggressive/pushy. Then I hung up.
