   She called and asked to speak to the person in charge of franking machines. She was told I am on the telephone preference list and her reply was "I'm just doing my job". I explained it's illegal to cold call someone on the TPL and she said "tough" and hung up

   Awful scam call, they ring asking 'how many ... do you have in stock, shall I send more ... as if they are your normal supplier
   embarrasing way to run a company and obtain sales, avoid.

   Did not introduce herself or tell where she was calling from and tried to fish information of how much franking machine supplies have we got. I told her I cannot give you that information and hung up. Clearly a scam for junior staff to avoid.

   Introductory question is "how many ink cartridges have you got left" and apparently "enough" or "same as last time you rang" isn't good enough - they actually ask you to go and look! Ditto re franking labels. Impolite an persistent.

    Called pretending to be a legit contractor - told them we are with TPS and that they lied to my colleague - asked they remove us from whatever dodgy list we appear on - they are rude and aggressive.

    Telemarketer M***** got aggressive when told her that the person she was cold calling for franking machine supplies did not deal with this - when I informed her we get our supplies elsewhere cheaper she said how can we know their prices when we haven't been sent a price list. I told her we have had prices given to us by phone and they do not match. She slammed phone down. Very professional.
