A woman called today (23 Nov 2023) from this number saying she was from Microsoft and that I had to do blah-blah-blah or else, regarding my computer. I said you don't sound like Microsoft, you sound like a scammer. She then got fired up, barely pausing to draw breath. She was absolutely horrible, raging, even accusatory, even saying that I had to prove that she wasn't a scammer! I hung up while she was still ranting at me. It was clearly a scam call, I could tell right from the start, and it sounded like there were others in the room, like a call centre type of place. The slightly unnerving thing was that she knew my name (where did that leak from?)
