When is the 'so called' ICO / government going to do something (anything) practical to stop all this harrassment ? BT could block these numbers if someone made them take action. They won't because they use a similar irritating system to 'badger' customers into paying their bills if they are a few days late. -

I have pressed 9 to be removed from their database, they still call. I have pressed 5 and had them pretend I'm not on the line when telling them to remove my number....
Drives me bonkerspw70 replied 12/18/15, 8:51 PMI've actually gone out and bought (at great expense to me!) a Pansonic Dect system that has Nuisance Caller Block, and paid BT for Caller Line ID. But now I've put in 084 as a master block for all numbers starting 084, so I've stopped getting these calls now, so far 6 in 2 days! -

If this is the number I think it is, it has been pestering me several times a week. It says it has been trying to contact me about some claim or other I do not recognise. It is a recorded message. As I never respond to recorded messages I hang up and try to remember what I was concentrating on when disturbed. I don’t quite know why I am called +448456197330 here as that was the first number I reported. Grumpy would be more appropriate.
