I got a recorded message from "Luke," supposedly my local energy advisor, but it was the same old loft insulation scam. There were awkward pauses where I was supposed to respond, and he claimed almost every house in my area had been surveyed. They were just "contacting the last few households" to make sure I got one too. I really hoped I’d be connected to a real person to figure out who these scammers were, but my responses weren’t what they wanted, and the call got cut off.
