Called saying they were from BT Openreach and that my home computer had been switched yesterday afternoon from a private connection to a public one, allowing anyone in the local vicinity to have access. Clearly scammers.

Pretending to be my Internet provider, saying fraudulent activity, when challenged they hung up, always challenge and don't give specific information out.

Sounded like a call centre in Delhi, called saying from BT openreach, asked for business owner, said they'd terminate internet. I said go on then disconnect it. Still have internet.

someone saying I was due a refund of £119.60 on the warranty of my washing machine. I told them this was the 4th refund o it this week so I was going to get a new one with all the money and they could ring me about that warranty as well. I hung up and then had them ring me a further 6 times with them calling me a crazy lady just because I told them I was going to report them for harassment and that I had no business answering the call when it was my partner who they wanted to speak to
