Telephoned me to tell me that I'd been overcharged on my 'home aplliances' and I would be getting a refund of £109.
I 'just' had to give them my bank acoount number and sort code to get the refund.
I asked what the refund was for, and could they just send me a cheque (playing along, I'm not gullible), and she kept pushing for my bank details, without answering my questions.
I asked her if people still fell for something as blatant as this, and she said 'Thank you madam', and put the phone down. -

Called offering a refund of £190 for a washing machine insurance. Spoke to my mum first and confused her but she refused to give bank details. I then spoke to him and he couldn't give me any details about the washing machine or insurance. Eventually put me through to his superior. He put the phone down when I refused to give bank details without evidence. They were quite convincing but small things proved they were not right.

Asian gentleman claiming to be from BT Openreach. Claimed someone with a foreign IP address was trying to access my internet. Wanted me to use an internet device and run through a series of instructions given by him. As I'm not with BT then it was easy to tell it wasn't genuine and for him to 'go away'.

Caller with an Asian accent tried to convince me there was work being done by BT which would give access to my internet by the public he even had my mobile number to send me a code. He was very persistent even when I told him that i did not believe what he was telling me I eventually had to just hang up. BT is not my internet provider !!

Irritating oriental/Asian female saying she was my BT internet provider. I told her I didn't believe her and I hadn't the time as I was busy anyway and she simply continued to talk over me!
Obviously a scam/spam caller Now blocked and reported.

Lady calling herself Janet Wilson requested access to my laptop in order to fix an issue with our broadband router. Very difficult to understand her due to a very thick foreign access. When I started to ask questions about Virgin and the specification of the new router she said she would be sending she hung up.
