Investigator Siobhan reported number 08450523409 as Hometec
They sent a letter to my gran and took money out of her account without her knowledge as she doesnt have use of her accounts so wouldn't have been able to set up anything for the past 2 years. Please be aware

Investigator david John mcguinness reported Hometec with the number +448450523409 as Telemarketer
Caller gave her name as Jane Howard informing me they can reduce my TV insurance cover. I do not have TV insurance, she was very convincing but I always google numbers and calls I am unsure of.... Scam.... They knew my details and even some of the numbers of my account???

Barb reported Hometec with the number +448450523409 as Telemarketer
They have just removed £170 from my Dad's Account to insure his telly which is worth circa £20. Dad is 92, deafest and confused. How do they live with themselves!
Siobhan replied 1/28/22, 12:05 AMThey have literally just done this to my gran. They keep a hold of their account details and reopen direct debits to the bank in different company names. Please keep checking his account

Investigator Once bitten - bite back reported Hometec Solutions & TMT with the number 08450523409 as Cost trap
This company scammed my elderly dad in 2019 for 2 years maintenance on his 3 TVs - he’s got 1! They said it was for washing machine - he has a carer who does that for him. Name Jane Howard Hometec Solutions.
Used his details again in 2020 for same trick but different company name. I now have Power of Attorney on his account and got payment refunded and reported to bank fraud team.
June 2022 and they phoned me this time by mistake. “TMT White Goods” (The Maintenance Team). Abi Taylor- says she’s working from home in Manchester. Number was 01369 234107 - Scotland. Has to be same company as info used was only known to them. Reported again to bank and will be lodging details with Financial Conduct Authority on 0800 111 6768 when lines open tomorrow.
They think they are so clever. Only ask for name of Bank (not account details) and safe word. They are building data for them to phone my dad and gain his confidence.
Be very careful. Do not give out any info. Check your bank account and report to your bank asap as a fraud
