    Missed call, I called back (mistake but I am expecting legitimate companies to contact me). Got an automated answer saying "You were called today <something something> survey" I Immediately hung up.

    Have the same initials as the initiator of this comment stream and received a similar random call from 08456197303 one hour later in the UK. Did not answer, and no voicemail message was left behind by the "caller" either. This number was completely unkown to me previously. Then I discovered this information on-line during the same morning...

    Called me at 7pm on a Tuesday night. Didn't ring long but I wouldn't have answered an 0845 number anyway. They didn't leave a message like a legitimate caller would.

    had this number call umpteen times now, sometimes they hang up, sometimes they want to do a survey. Very pushy too. Now blocked, I advise you do the same.

    I spoke to someone at Homebase yesterday and they said that I would be asked to take part in a customer service survey, so I assume this is what this call was about. You can opt out by pressing 9, or just ignore the call and block the number as I did.
